LSV Pui-Freunde e.V. has dedicated itself to supporting aviation sports. Currently, members have access to a self-launch-capable HPH 304 Twin Shark.
Safe, two-seated mountain soaring - for new, experienced, and expert pilots. Club flight camps are regularly held in Puimoisson. Depending on the availability of our plane, flight instructors, and guides, the Twin Shark can also be used on the basis of a temporary annual membership, on a daily or weekly basis. Guided flights are possible with our flight instructors and guides. The use of the Twin Shark as PIC also requires sufficient mountain flying experience.
The pride and heart of our club since 2022 is the self-launch capable high-performance two-seater 304 Twin Shark by HpH Sailplanes.
In addition to state-of-the-art avionics, we spared no expense on safety equipment: Power Flarm with ADS-B and two antennas ensure optimal coverage and range, and the Flarm-coupled flashing collision warning light on the canopy increases visibility in addition to the red warning markings. Oxygen supply with 2 EDS. ELT.

Cautious and proficient aircraft handling, especially near the slope, is the basis for safe alpine flying. In the event that the expected thermal does not appear, we must always be aware of the next potential option for landing and the minimum altitude required to reach it safely. This foundation is best acquired two-seated alongside an expert. The expansion of possibilities follows step by step. The passion to learn and fly offers infinite potential.
Differing weather conditions and times of day continually expand our experience horizon in alpine gliding. Unpleasant moments can be reduced when flying two-seated with a mountain-experienced glider pilot, and the joy of mountain soaring prevails.
The region around the “Aerodrome de Puimoisson” is also highly attractive for accompanying travelers. Thanks to the possibility of using the Twin Shark, you can involve your co-travelers in your flight experiences.
There is probably no airfield with more and better gliding possibilities. located between the lavender fields of the Plateau de Valensole, beginners can fly almost like in flatland above the plateau. Entry into the “Parcours des Combattants” is nearby. Depending on the weather and experience, you can continue to the Briançonnais, the Maurienne, the Aosta Valley, or even the dream destinations of Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Furka, and much more.
